Fretboard Theory · No. 01

Fretcraft

Guitar theory that finally sounds like something, right there on the neck.

Most guitar apps just show you where to put your fingers. Fretcraft is the opposite. It puts triads, scales and chord functions right on the neck, so you can see which voicings live in which scale and finally get why your favourite progressions work.

About

Why Fretcraft?

Most guitar apps show you where to put your fingers and stop there. This one cares about the why. The neck is really a map. Every shape is an inversion of something, every note belongs to a scale, every chord is doing a job. Once you can see that, you stop hoarding shapes and start understanding what you play.

Who it's for

Who Is This For?

You already know your way around. You've got open chords, a couple of scales, maybe a pentatonic box or two, but it all feels like separate little islands. This is for that itch. The point where you're done copying tabs and you want to hear why the music actually works.
